The foundational objectives driving our commitment to rigorous research, inclusive technology platforms, and constitutional electoral governance.
1. Informed & Accessible Participation
To develop, establish, operate, maintain, manage, and provide election-related information, data, research, technology platforms, digital tools, voter education programmes, and support services for the purpose of promoting informed, transparent, inclusive, and accessible electoral participation.
2. Voter Awareness & Civic Engagement
To facilitate voter awareness and civic engagement by providing accurate, reliable, and non-partisan information relating to elections, electoral processes, candidates, constituencies, polling stations, election schedules, voting procedures, public policies, governance issues, and other matters of public interest, enabling citizens to make informed electoral choices.
3. Voter Registration Assistance
To design, develop, and operate voter registration assistance systems and digital or physical platforms that simplify voter registration processes, reduce procedural barriers, assist in verification and correction of electoral records, and facilitate access to voter-related services in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
4. Inclusive Technology Solutions
To undertake activities aimed at increasing electoral participation by promoting inclusive voter registration systems, including through online, mobile, community-based, and technology-enabled solutions that improve accessibility, particularly for marginalized, underrepresented, rural, remote, differently-abled, elderly, and hard-to-reach communities.
5. Collaborative Electoral Governance
To provide educational, informational, technological, logistical, analytical, and consultancy services relating to electoral governance, democratic participation, public policy, civic education, election administration, and voter outreach in collaboration with government authorities, election management bodies, educational institutions, civil society organizations, international organizations, and other stakeholders, subject to applicable laws.
6. Research & Policy Analysis
To conduct research, surveys, studies, policy analysis, data collection, data management, statistical analysis, publications, reports, awareness campaigns, seminars, workshops, conferences, training programmes, and capacity-building initiatives relating to elections, democratic institutions, governance, civic participation, electoral reforms, and public policy alternatives.
7. Digital Platforms & Information Security
To create, maintain, and disseminate databases, knowledge repositories, digital platforms, mobile applications, software solutions, artificial intelligence tools, and communication systems for providing election-related information, voter assistance, civic education, and public policy information while ensuring compliance with applicable laws relating to data protection, privacy, and information security.
8. Protection of Fundamental Rights
To promote an enabling legal, institutional, and democratic environment that encourages lawful public participation in electoral processes by supporting initiatives relating to voter education, civic awareness, electoral integrity, transparency, accountability, and the protection of fundamental rights and freedoms guaranteed under the Constitution and applicable laws.
9. Advancement of Democratic Governance
To undertake any lawful activity incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objects and to carry on all such activities as may be necessary or expedient for promoting informed electoral participation, civic engagement, democratic governance, and public awareness in accordance with applicable laws.
